Sprinkler Saves Atlanta High Rise

Atlanta firefighters were on the scene of a high rise building in midtown Atlanta, where a small fire broke out. Authorities said the 13th floor of building 2 of the West Wing of the America's Mart building was the location of the fire. However, by the time firefighters arrived on the scene, the floor's sprinkler system extinguished the fire.

A suspicious fire set in a UNC Asheville dormitory was quickly doused by the sprinkler system, leaving minimal damages to the furniture and carpet, university officials said. No one was injured.

The fire was out by the time the Lexington County Fire Service responded to the incident at 123 Brevard Parkway.

In 1976, after twenty years in the fire protection industry working for companies like Fluor Daniel and The Viking Corporation, Mr. Bill M. Harvey started the family business now known as Harvey and Associates, Inc.
